Mumbai: For engineering and medical aspirants, there is one more option this year apart from AIEEE, MHT-CET and IIT-JEE to get a seat in a leading institute.
Several students who did not qualify for AIEEE or IIT entrance tests, are taking ENAT, an online national entrance test accepted by several top institutes like Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Manipal, Masscomedia, Manav Rachna University, etc.
The entrance test is conducted by a not-for-profit organisation, Education Promotion Society of India (EPSI). “I gave ENAT for engineering in Manipal University and scored 111/240. The advantage of the test was that I got my scores immediately. I have received a call for counselling,” said Ipsita Bhattacharya, a student from RN Podar High School, Santa Cruz.
This year, ENAT 2010 is being conducted for undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate courses.
The test is held pan-India at 36 centres across 32 cities, including Mumbai, for partnering universities for admission to their various programmes in BE, BTech, MBA etc.
