Came across this page (Probably created by either Nitin or One of his parents). While some of the points raised herein may be true for certain coaching institutes, I beg to differ on certain points as far as FIITJEE is concerned:
1. FIITJEE does not claim or approach a student who is not actually enrolled with FIITJEE.
2. FIITJEE publishes its results for classroom and non classroom programs separately, and does not falsely attribute a non-classroom result to a classroom result (or for that matter, make a politically correct statement about results to give a false impression in media)
3. I do not really know as to what exactly transpired between Nitin Jain and FIITJEE authorities, however as far as I know (as a professor of Physics at FIITJEE Limited), most of my peers are highly competent and intend well for their students. They try to teach to the best of their capabilities.
4. Getting selected in IIT JEE or not getting selected in IIT JEE is a different matter altogether. Consider the fact that about 4.7 lac students wrote the exam in 2010 and out of that just 10,000 i.e. 0.1 lac will get selected. You can just imagine by sheer statistics that out of 4.7 lac students 4.6 lac students do not get selected so should one really blame the coaching institutes for their student not getting selected? I think if the coaching institutes are producing a significantly better result than average statistics, they are doing their jobs. Moreover, Many of the students who are not able to make it to IITs, are still able to make it through AIEEE or other good engineering colleges. The yardstick of judging a coaching process cannot be selections alone. If a student after having undergone coaching has done significantly better than what he would have done otherwise, then the coaching definitely has been successful. Students join coaching classes because most of the times their teachers at schools are not competent enough to handle IIT JEE type of problems, which require an in depth understanding and that is where the need of coaching arises. Ideal situation would be to hire competent teachers in school itself so that there is no dual pressure on students (coaching + boards etc). For that government must scrap the requirement for M.Sc. /B.Ed etc for teaching in schools. If an IIT Grad can become an IAS officer, A manager ... , You name what ... then isn't it ironical that an IIT B.Tech. is barred from teaching in a K-12 School ...especially ... Even if he is passionate about teaching...!!
5. If there were any "unethical unprincipled strategies" of coaching classes in the matter of providing academic inputs, then why would the students (even the rankers) continue to study for entire two years? (Assuming they would be better off without coaching)

QUESTION ME NO MORE
Of late, ever since Nitin topped IIT-JEE and AIEEE, our home has been a kind of second studio for certain representatives of the media. Immediately after the announcement of the results, our house was thronged by journalists and their camera crews, all asking the same questions in different voices, and rephrasing them time and again. I have been asked the same questions hundreds of times by hundreds of people.
What had further stoked the interest of the media in Nitin's success was the controversy that had come out of nowhere and attained the stature of suspense fiction. Two institutes started claiming that Nitin was their student, and that it was their efforts that helped him become the all-India topper. Thereon, many stories and many rumours were floated by all kinds of people. Some stories were a liberal mix of 50 per cent truth and 50 per cent fictiono sensationalize the news, while some were absolute lies.
Hence, to tell people the real sequence of events and true incidents, I have consolidated all the queries and my 'true answers' in an interview, which was conducted by a journalist of a leading national daily.
Journalist: Which coaching institute did Nitin attend for his IIT-JEE preparations?
Myself: He attended coaching classes at FIITJEE's Kalu Sarai centre in South Delhi. (2 Year weekend classroom program)
J: Then why is it that some other institute is printing Nitin's photos in papers claiming him to be their student?
M: Nitin had never attended any coaching institute other than FIITJEE. That other institute is simply trying to cash in on his name.
J: That institute even had an enrolment form with Nitin's photo printed in the newspaper. How did that happen?
M: In my absence, a representative of that institute came to my home. Nitin had just returned from &&&&&&&&&.
J: Did that institute try to contact you again?
M: Yes, indeed. These people were acting very smart. When the IIT-JEE forms &&&&&&..
J: Did the representative take any other documents from your wife and son?
M: Yes, he did. He took away two &&&&&&..
J: When, after the results were out, you saw Nitin's photo and his name in newspapers, with the same institute claiming him to be its student, what was your immediate reaction?
M: As soon as I read the newspaper, I called the representative and &&&&
J: Yet, they continued to use Nitin's name in their ads. What did you do?
M: I called media houses and told everyone that my son &&&&&&&
J: Perhaps that institute was really desperate. Did they offer any favours or promise any monetary benefits for you to say that Nitin was their student?
M: On the day when IIT-JEE results were declared, some officials &&&
J: Did Nitin get any scholarship from FIITJEE?
M: Yes, he got 90 per cent scholarship in the entrance-cum-selection test in 2007.
J: When did he join FIITJEE?
M: At the end of June 2007.
J: Wasn't that a bit late to join coaching?
M: Due to our late decision regarding where to send &&&&&&
Isn't it strange, that the institute that is now boasting about having coached Nitin, was not even sure he would pass the exam?
J: Nitin had topped FTRE conducted by FIITJEE. Did he get any prize for the same?
M: This again is an interesting story. There was a prize of one lakh rupees declared by FIITJEE for the topper. When Nitin topped the exam, &&
J: Nitin wrote an appreciation letter for FIITJEE. That letter looks like a public relations activity of the institute. Did Nitin actually write that?
M: That is a 'lie' that India has been reading so far in FIITJEE ads in newspapers, in their brochures, and other print mediums. Nitin was pressurized to write the letter, though in a subtle manner. In fact, the letter had already been prepared by the institute and &&&&
It happened on the very day when IIT-JEE results were declared. The head of department of Chemistry of the institute had been at our &&&&
They took advantage of Nitin's innocence and obedience&&&&&.
J: Did you show any kind of objection after seeing all the ads in newspapers?
M: Yes, I called HOD Chemistry of the institute &&&&&&
We were in a weird situation at that point of time. On the one hand, there was an institute that was falsely claiming that Nitin was their student, and on the other hand, the institute from where he studied was publishing a false letter in his name. On top of all this, we had media people pursuing us relentlessly to clarify the truths and the lies.
J: What do you think is not actually true in the letter that Nitin was asked to write?
M: About 70 per cent of what is mentioned in the letter is not true. To begin with, the first line itself, where Nitin has given the entire credit for his success &&&&&&..
Then, in the second paragraph, they made Nitin claim that his parents were sure about him joining FIITJEE even when he was in class XI&&&&
They also made him write that had he not joined FIITJEE, he would not have been among the top ten. In that case, it's a surprise &&&&&
In the last paragraph, Nitin is asking his juniors to join &&&&&&.
J: According to the media reports Nitin had attended fiitjee seminars in Jaipur, Kota & Bangalore. Please tell us the truth?
M: This is totally false news. The news which has been published in leading newspapers &&&&&&&
J: Did Nitin take any coaching for the International Science Olympiads?
M: No, he did not take any coaching. The syllabus is &&&&&&&.
J: Is there anything that you would like to suggest to parents and students who are seeking admission at coaching institutes?
M: After the recent incidents, I feel that a majority of the institutes are primarily concentrating on making &&&&&&&&..
Unethical, Unprincipled coaching strategies of IIT classes!!!!
Please do not stop reading. It will hardly take 5 minutes. Do think seriously about this and take appropriate action. Most importantly...
Read.. Think...Act !!!!
Introduction
In recent years, IIT-JEE has become kind of a mania. In the past 4 years, number of IIT-JEE aspirants have rose by around 1 lakh. No wonder, numerous IIT coaching institutes have mushroomed in these years. A category of people have made coaching institutes their business that flourishes at the expense of careers of innocent, ignorant kids. It has to be accepted that not only clearing IIT-JEE is a tough task but also training students to prepare for IIT-JEE is equally tough. It requires detailed planning of syllabus, dedicated team of intellectually stimulated and experienced faculty.
Strategy of these classes to attract students
IIT coaching institutes' business/fame/popularity is directly proportional to the number of candidates selected in IIT-JEE from their institutes. If I as a businessman make an entry in this business I have no great results to show in the beginning. This would make me think of earning the rights to publish the name of students of other coaching classes who have cleared the examination. How? Give students free test series/ study material etc. and what I get in return is the right to publish their name once they clear this famous examination, IIT-JEE.
Once this process starts, it never ceases because promotional offers are very cheap investment with high yielding returns. It is an excellent way to hide one's incompetency. This is how some coaching institutes are running today in Mumbai at least. They are exploiting ignorance of students and their parents mercilessly. They do not care about the after effects on students following their abysmal performance in IIT-JEE and related exams, when in reality, it is not a student's fault but fault at the end of these heartless coaching institutes.
Outcome
Classroom students of these coaching classes generally do not do well at IIT-JEE and other related exams. But these institutes get their share of publicity because of those promotional offers. They again misguide new students and parents and the cycle continues. One day, this process will become like one of the scams at the Wall Street. I hope that day comes pretty soon and save many nascent careers. Let this be the beginning of that day.
Appeal to IITians
My friends, I have realized it with my first hand experiences that we do try our best to teach students but ignorantly we are not helping them much and many to come (future students of these institutes) to sail through because of the fraudulent system explained above. I feel that as IITians, we have strong social responsibility. This tag of IITian is trusted by everyone. People have blind faith in us. It is not at all justified on our part to break this faith for a small amount of money which we all know is insignificant in time to come. So, let us not do this crime anymore. Respect yourself for what you are dammit!!! We have earned this title.. let's not waste it. Let's use the power to make a subtle change in the society that can work wonders! Finally, we all know the Butterfly effect!
Disclaimer: Views expressed above are personal and not intended to hurt anyone but to point out the flaw in the current IIT coaching system.

What you have written in this article is indeed a burning truth of today. It's really shamefull to have such strategies just for the sake of money. Business and ethics must be in tandem with each other to accomplish the desired result. Its really seems like today's teachers or intellectuals have cold heart and rotten mind with myopic view of future. It will certainly going to ruin everyone associated with this nobel profession.
Nice blog online tuition
