It is good to know a little bit about these. But, don't go very deep. Lets concentrate on IIT JEE. Not post-IIT JEE.
For IIT JEE, mainly, the syllabus of 11th and 12th standard comprises the syllabus of IIT JEE. Just like it is prestigious, it is hard too. It needs a lot of hard work to crack it. No brainer that your intelligence also plays a vital role in your selection. But, if you compare students withrank around 2000 with those who got 5000. You will find slight or no difference in their intelligence. Means, not merely intelligence is the requirement to pass IIT JEE. Hard work is also a factor. In fact, it is the most important factor. Hard work determines what AIR you will get in the IIT JEE.
Presently in this column I will discuss preparation strategy for class 11th students who have just entered in 11th standard.
First of all, the very step they should take is to gather maximum possible information about IIT JEE. I'm not just telling get some knowledge what is IIT, IIT JEE, 'what is its pattern?', etc. I'm saying get full detail about IIT JEE. What it ask in the exams? Which type of question, it may ask? And which it can't. Syllabus, strategies, aspects, previous years trend and most important what you should study for IIT JEE and what not. These are very important. As I've seen many students regretting later about their misguided preparation. I will not discuss now much about what is IIT JEE. One should try to discuss about it as much as possible with seniors and teachers Also, with your IIT JEE aspirant friends. As may be your friend have gained some important information which you should too know.
Especially, I would like to suggest you to discuss about IIT JEE with those senior who missed their chance in IIT JEE exam by a little margin. Since, they are the one who reviewed most about the key points they lacked in the preparation of IIT JEE. Those who clear IIT JEE easily never have intelligence deficiency. Also, no one review why they get selected. Even if some one did, not by analyzing each and every step they had taken in the preparation of IIT JEE. Even though if these geniuses had done something wrong in their preparation. They might not have realized it yet. Cause it is not necessary for them. Have you ever heard on News TV. Why India won the match? I doubt it. Since, no one have time to come out of celebration to these hectic work. So, if they are giving some advice they had used in their IIT JEE preparation. It might not be fully best. So, always take advice from losers who had close call (not by just any loser). And, not to mention also take advice and comment about IIT JEE preparation from experienced teachers too. They had seen many good students transforming their intelligence to nice AIR. And, also them with the same intelligence level who could not pass the IIT JEE hurdle.
Now, remember the fact that until 10th life is very easy. Also, well guided by experienced teachers in our schools. Comparing to 12th syllabus 10th syllabus is very small. Actually, syllabus of 11th and 12th is a bit hard by the addition of many new sections in the syllabus like calculus, probability, rotational mechanics, modern physics, etc. specially in chemistry a lot of new additions. Not just extensions.
Other than that not to mention syllabus of IIT JEE is much more vast than 11th and 12th syllabus. Also, there are very few people around who could give you correct guidance about IIT JEE. Even I myself is not that much good. So, you have to judge yourself what is good for you. Analyze the advices and tips by others and build a strong preparation strategy for the IIT JEE.
I'm closing here next post will be a three step preparation strategy which could be used by 11th standard students For IIT JEE preparation.
For 11th standard IIT JEE aspirants. Give your comments and share your confusions and trouble here. Use comments section for your feedbacks.
For 12th standard students. Give your comments and feedback. If you have any sort of trouble in study. Write about that too in the comment section. We will discuss about it.
